The history of Val Saint Lambert is that of one of the most important and prestigious crystal glassworks in Belgium, with a rich history dating back to 1826.
From its beginnings, Val Saint Lambert distinguished itself by the clarity and quality of its crystal.
Throughout the 19th century, it became a significant producer of cut crystal.
It undertook monumental projects, such as the two crystal chandeliers for the palace of the Maharaja of Gwalior in India (between 1900 and 1925), which were the largest in the world at the time, standing 13 meters tall, and the "Crépuscule" vase using several layers of glass.
Val Saint Lambert was especially associated with Art Nouveau, creating original and distinctive pieces with fluid designs and motifs inspired by nature, its iconic pieces found in museums and private collections around the world.
To this day, the company continues to create works of excellent quality.
