Style (70s)

Furniture from the 1970s reflected an era of significant social changes. It was characterized by boldness in colors, shapes, and materials, seeking to break with convention and express greater freedom and optimism.

Main Characteristics:

  1. Vibrant and earthy colors: The color palette was very broad, including shades like orange, mustard yellow, olive green, electric blue, and fuchsia, often combined with colors like brown, beige, and ochre. The aim was to create warm and energetic environments.

  1. Functionality and modularity: Poufs and low modular sofas were very popular, encouraging interaction.

  1. Materials: Synthetic materials such as plastic and vinyl, which allowed for the creation of novel shapes, became popular. Natural materials like wicker, rattan, and leather were also valued.

  1. Prints with large flowers.
